At some point during the design of your web site (or once it’s completed) you will wish to have your domain reference our services. This is done to:
- Make your new site publicly available
- Setup new E-mail boxes to use the new domain.
The most common method for doing this is to configure your domain to reference our Domain Name Servers (DNS). Depending on the registry where you purchased your domain, the procedure will vary somewhat but they all generally use the terms
“DOMAIN NAME SERVERS” or “CONFIGURE DNS”
This setting for your domain should consist of at least two entries, a primary DNS server and a secondary DNS server. Many registries place their own server in these areas by default. You must OVERWRITE or REPLACE these entries with the following information:
Primary Name Server:
ns1.adconn.com
Secondary Name Server:
ns2.adconn.com
Once you have configured your domain in this fashion, let our support staff know so we may continue the configuration by defining your new “www” address as well as create whatever E-mail boxes you may need.
