Click the NEXT button to continue the configuration. You should now see:
Enter the account name (usually your full e-mail address as provided to you by your e-mail administrator) and password.
Click NEXT then FINISH to complete the first part of the configuration. This should bring you back to the internet accounts screen:
Step 3 - Adding outgoing security to your configuration
Before you can send e-mail through our system, you must first enable the security feature within Outlook that will authenticate your account and authorize your system to send e-mail. To do this, double click on the new account “mail.adconn.com” or click on Properties while it is highlighted (as seen above). This will show you the account properties like this:
Click on the Servers tab to view the server configuration:
Then check off the setting for “My server requires authentication” under the “Outgoing Mail Server” area.
Click on OK then CLOSE and you have successfully completed your e-mail setup. You may now use Outlook Express to read and send e-mail!
